Country · Honky-Tonk
A Nashville-based honky-tonk country artist named one of Rolling Stone Country's "10 New Country Artists You Need to Know." James has opened for Alan Jackson, Ricky Skaggs, and Trace Adkins, made his Grand Ole Opry debut at the Ryman Auditorium, and was hand-picked by Alan Jackson to open multiple dates on the Honky Tonk Highway Tour — including Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. A decade-long fixture at The Nashville Palace, he brings raw, road-tested country to every stage.

Americana · Folk · Country · Bluegrass
Two distinctive voices in contemporary roots music come together at the Fall Fiber Festival as George Carnes and Cole Ritter bring an engaging blend of Americana, folk-country and timeless musical storytelling to Washington Commons.
Louisville native George Carnes is a Berklee-trained singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music moves between intimate folk-rock, country and soulful singer-songwriter traditions. His expressive vocals, dynamic guitar work and thoughtful original songs create a sound that feels both fresh and comfortably familiar.
Cole Ritter is a Nashville-area singer-songwriter, guitarist, fiddler and multi-instrumentalist known for blending vintage country, folk, bluegrass, blues and rockabilly influences. A former American Idol contestant and winner of Belmont University's Country Showcase with his band The Night Owls, Ritter brings energetic musicianship and a deep appreciation for the roots of American music.
Together, Carnes and Ritter will deliver a performance filled with honest songwriting, exceptional musicianship and the warm, authentic sound of Americana and folk-country. Join them at the Commons for an afternoon of music that celebrates community, connection and the traditions that continue to shape American music.
